Cau Castle (Dinh Cậu)
This is where I want to see whenever I visit Phu Quoc. It’s located right in Duong Dong district, and actually is a combination of a exquisite temple and lighthouse built in 1937 in honor of Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea who it is said protects fishermen and sailors. From the Cau Castle you’ll have wonderful views of the harbor. So many vietnamese gather there everyday. Besides that, It’s nice for a swim too. If you want to see sunset in Phu Quoc, It’s a must see. moreover, if you are a photographer, you gonna love it.
The night market (Chợ Đêm Dinh Cậu)
Just some steps from Dinh Cau, you can see the night market. It’s the most atmospheric to enjoy some seafood and vietnamese dishes. You can also buy some souvenirs at the night market. So if you love vietnamese food, don’t miss out this spot.
Ham Ninh Habour (Cảng Ham Ninh)
Located about 20km away from Duong Dong district and about 5km from Suoi Tranh Waterfall. too many people may not familiar with this place, but believe me, if you are a photographer or a fan of vietnamese food, you must see this place. This it where you can see sunrise in Phu Quoc island. It’s also the best place for seafood in Phu Quoc.
Da Ban waterfall and Da Tranh water fall (Suoi Da Ban & Suoi Tranh)
If you are a landscape photographer, carry your tripod with you to those beautiful waterfall. If you are travelers, take your time to visit those places. enjoy swimming under white water creek. If you are going there late in the afternoon, prepare mosquito repellent.
Sao Beach (Bãi Sao)
The most beautiful beach in Phu Quoc island with stunning white sand. The idea place for relax or sun bathing after a long distance seeing various places.
